MentorshipRevolution Word of the Day (2)
The word of the day is Resilience.
Define it: Adapting well in the face of adversity or misfortune. Being able to bounce back into shape, and being unstoppable.
Relate it: Resilience is a character trait that should never go unnoticed. A person who is resilient is strong and a force to be reckoned with. We will all deal with situations in life that should strengthen our resilience, but we can’t base our mindset on external factors.
Sentence it: Resilience has taught me that I can look any negative circumstance in the face, because I have strength as a person to deal with all obstacles in a way that I eventually overcome them.
Remember it: Athletes see resilience on the court 24/7 as they play a game. Resilience can be seen when we observe elders who are still surviving but have endured life ( and many of its unpredictable periods).
