MR Question Column 21st Edition

Introduction

Welcome to MentorshipRevolution’s Monthly Question Column where we ask some of the best questions on the ‘net. Seriously, I promise we do!

Questions are important! I know us adults sometimes try to avoid the answers or either we assume we have no answers or we have all the answers.

If you would like to submit a question to our question column, and have us share answers with you completely free of charge please email MentorshipRevolution24.7@gmail.com.

Enjoy!

Statement : MR is designing a question column because we truly believe questions are the gateway to knowledge and wisdom. We are encouraging our supporters and the people in societies to seek information that can bring about positive change, individual growth, and community growth.

What’s the deal: As of now MR will answer a question every month- that we have all asked at least once in our life, or will ask eventually. We desire for the questions to be asked by the people, but we don’t have a problem creating them. To send in a question please email the question to MentorshipRevolution 24.7@gmail.com or leave it as a comment on this website. Enjoy reading this month’s column!

This month’s guest will be the wonderful Aleechea Pitts (also known as Pastor Pitts)!

Extending Forgiveness

Question: Why is extending forgiveness necessary?

Forgiveness and Closure works in the healing and restoration process begins with changing the way you think.  The person who has caused the offense should ask for forgiveness and receive forgiveness. The person who is offended must have security and trust restored. A wounded person will struggle with different issues (Get to the root of the problem.) and must process and eventually forgive. Trust will be difficult — but necessary — to restore. The person who has caused the offense must admit their wrongdoing. By being humble,  the offender puts themselves in a position where they can begin to be trusted again. As renewed trust grows hurting parties can overcome the damage of the relationship.

You have come to the end of MentorshipRevolution Question Column 21st Edition!

I hope that this month’s question column has served you and touched you in a very special way. Forgiveness is necessary in order to sustain healthy connections and relationships with even our closest loved ones.

It isn’t the easiest thing to do depending on what has been done, but if we are willing to continue demonstrating compassion and understanding toward even our enemies the world will be a much better place.

Send us any question(s) you may have. We want to answer them for you in our Monthly Question Column!
