MentorshipRevolution Question Column 16th Edition
Introduction
Welcome to MentorshipRevolution’s Monthly Question Column where we ask some of the best questions on the ‘net. Seriously, we do.
Questions are important! I know us adults sometimes try to avoid the answers or either we assume we have no answers or we have all the answers.
For our question column we ask all the questions that you would ask, and we provide answers that are from a reputable source.
If you would like to submit a question to our question column, and have us share answers with you completely free of charge please email MentorshipRevolution24.7@gmail.com.
Enjoy!
Statement : MR is designing a question column because we truly believe questions are the gateway to knowledge and wisdom. We are encouraging our supporters and the people in societies to seek information that can bring about positive change, individual growth, and community growth. What’s the deal: As of now MR will answer a question every month- that we have all asked at least once in our life, or will ask eventually. We desire for the questions to be asked by the people, but we don’t have a problem creating them. To send in a question please email the question to MentorshipRevolution 24.7@gmail.com or leave it as a comment on this website. Enjoy reading this month’s column! For April’s Question Column I am delighted to announce we have the amazing Micha Goebig as our guest!
Hi Micha! Thank you so much for being our wonderful guest on this Question Column for the month of April. I couldn’t say that enough.
I am excited that you are becoming familiar with this platform and audience, because now they have the opportunity to hear from an incredible individual as yourself.
Explain GoBigCoaching. What inspired you to start this platform? As a coach what formula do you use as your aid as you get the job done and live out your calling and passion for coaching individuals?
Micha’s Response:
I am Micha Goebig, a certified coach, speaker, published author, and the founder of Go Big Coaching. I work with female professionals, primarily in male-dominated industries, helping them rewrite their story so that they can change the world, one boardroom at a time.
I was inspired to take this route a few years after I had moved to Seattle. Here, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many amazing women, and most of them seem to share similar struggles, and to an even greater extent if they are women of color, immigrants, and or work in tech or science. As an immigrant with a background in the automotive industry, I had to work through a lot of the same issues for myself and knew how difficult that would have been without the help of a coach. So I feel uniquely prepared to offer the same support to other women today.
As I was born and raised in Germany, I follow what you could call a German-style coaching approach: efficient, pragmatic, solution-driven, direct. At the same time, I feel the great importance of holding space for my clients. They may share similar struggles, but each and every one of them has a unique story. I want to honor these stories and help clients rewrite the parts of their story that don’t serve them anymore. My happy place is when I see a client realize what I have known from the outset: that she is enough – exactly the way she is.
Thank you Micha for being a guest for the very first time on the MR platform! The work you do for female professionals doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for caring about women enough and being so courageous as to choose the path of coaching individuals.
We enjoyed having you on on the MR Question Column, and soon we will have Micha on the MR Podcast!
