The Affirmation Series Part 6: The Process of Maturity hasn’t ended… Quiet yet!

The goal for this month was for all of us to endure as 1. Defined maturity. 2. Related it. 3. Sentenced it. 4. Remembered it ( These steps are also known as MentorshipRevolution Guide to Enhancing Vocabulary).

On the topic of definition most of us know what maturity is and what it means.

In regards to a person maturity is a person that is fully developed and complete ( an adult). In regards to mentality a person is mature when they make decisions that are completely thought out and fully reasoned.

On the other hand an immature person doesn’t understand or haven’t yet developed the ability to made adult like decisions. A child being immature is quite accepted in society, but immature adults are scorned and they have a pretty rough life until they grow up.

The worst thing to be is that adult who cannot live up to basic expectations or use what we all know as common sense. Maturity is an unfolding process because we all are improving and growing more and more as we live everyday.

I didn’t create this part of the series to force mature thinking or living on anyone. Instead I know that it is far more effective that we all understand maturity beyond the surface level , and by that understanding we can each examine our maturity process individually. Then we can each do what is best for ourselves and the path that we seek to take.

Throughout this month I have used the phrase “Maturity Process”.

Let me break this down.

Maturity Process refers to the beginning till the end. Because we don’t stop maturing once we become an adult, but instead maturity that is evident ends only upon death. Or at least the opportunity any way.

This is encouraging! This is exponential resource!

Get rid of any ideas you may have that maturity is random, boring, or cliche. Your maturity process will last your entire life, and the more better you are able to navigate it and drive it the better your life will be because of informed and intentional actions.

Let’s start a challenge people.
