Hi MentorshipRevolution Community, Friends, and Family!
This is the 11th Edition of MentorshipRevolution Newsletter, and that is an awesome feat to celebrate.
In June it will be a year for MentorshipRevolution being in existence. I have shared the story behind this origanization being founded, but I never get bored of sharing this story that is built on a foundation of faith, understanding, and courage.
In 2018 I graduated from Hertford County Early College High School. Sounds boring, maybe? Well I am not going to talk about the stuff that doesn’t matter to you.
After graduating high school there has to be a life plan made. There is one chapter of your life that is over forever, but still one waiting that is unknown, intimidating, though still exciting and inviting.
The person that I was after high school was thrilled and energized to finally be free. But what emerged was the part of me that desired to lead others, help others, inspire others, educate others, and become involved with a purpose that was beyond personal gain.
Thank God after all the time, struggles, losses, mess ups, and misunderstandings I had endured in my 18 years that passion was never loss or sole.
Today, I am thankful for all the people who have involved, engaged, or in some way supported MentorshipRevolution. Hence the name- this is a revolution.
There is no conforming to the foolishness, madness, lies, or cultural fads here.
Many businesses and other things on the web or in the world cater to these pleasures, but unfortunately not my business.
MentorshipRevolution was created to help sustain the minds and lives of people living today in all corners of the world.
I have a vision for what I desire to see MentorshipRevolution do. The people I want us to reach, help, and spread positivity.
Now, the relevant question every person reading this will ask is “How?”
How do you plan to fulfill your Mission?
Well, this website is one of the first and main ways. Second, I will expand this organization so it will be available to all those who could possibly be blessed or benefited by it. That is online and offline. In today’s world there is an online and offline setting. And what makes MentorshipRevolution different is our organization will flourish in both.
Currently I have an Affirmation Series that I am doing. In the month of March Part 6 theme of focus is “The Process of Maturity”. Join us as we dive into maturity and how it encourages us to walk into our destiny and purpose with proper thinking and living. Which should be the goal for all us grown folks💯
If you are wondering what happened to ” The MR Podcast”, well you are about to hear it straight from the source.
I am a first year college student, and lately I have been busy beyond my ears. Taking alot of classes, doing a lot of studying/reading, meeting a lot of people professionally and personally, growing closer to God through fellowship and bible study, and I have been faithfully committed to MentorshipRevolution.
For the podcast I have even networked, reached out, and emailed potential guests. One specifically is my new found friend Billy Lonas.
He was scheduled to be on The MR Podcast 4 episode, and I have even shared our interview we did together. Yes he is a self taught bible scholar! Amazing.
But because I am new to podcasting, and even more working with other people on a podcast things started to move slowly. And to be completely honest- I accept this. Just make sure you are following The MR Podcast on Spreaker, and staying tuned for all new episodes.
In this newsletter I have chosen to discuss “Leadership” and “Community”.
Both factors work in alignment for the benefit of each other ( or that should be the goal set at least).
Leadership is the act of a person carrying responsibility to make sure an objective is reached ( usually within the context of a group or community).
Leadership often is done behind the scenes as much as it is done before the eyes of the public.
Leadership is primary in influencing the direction people within the world choose to take.
Now there is Comunity. Let’s think leadership within communities.
For communities to be upheld, alive, and healthy there MUST be proactive leadership.
While every member within a community is special and should be involved in maintaining a green environment there still must be leadership.
The leaders are those who have proven themselves to be trustworthy, counted on, and most hungry for making things remain intact and progressive.
Leaders need to lead communities, and communities will fall to pieces without leaders.
This fact is not debatable.
MentorshipRevolution exists to be an online/offline community, and while we are all spread abroad we all have the opportunity to enforce positive change, influence others in the right way, and share with others the language of love and concern.
This is the end of MentorshipRevolution Edition 11 Newsletter! I hope you enjoyed reading and will decide to become an active member. Subscribe to our friendly website❤
